When the producers of Netflix Selling Sunset called for flooring solutions for this beautiful roof deck, Eco Arbor was there to see this from start to finish. A beautifully designed condo in the heart of Hollywood Blvd needed an outdoor flooring solution for the new owners. By expanding the roof deck another 3000 sq ft and covering HVAC and conduit which could not be covered by anything other than a raised pedestal floor. Eco Arbor Designs worked with the contractor and the owner to deliver the material, crane the material to the surface and provide a last minute install just in time for the big reveal on the Selling Sunset Show. The end result was a tremendous added value to each condominium in the building and quick sales to the new owners. The challenge to this project was how to crane 16000 lbs of porcelain pavers to a roof deck on Hollywood Blvd where parking is impossible let alone delivering a flat bed truck on site.   Then lifting each pallet to the rooftop.  It was not easy for the homeowner. Hollywood Blvd was shut down to deliver this material and believe me stopping LA trafiic to deliver porcelain pavers and pedestals is not fun. Once this hurdle was jumped, installation moved forward and quickly.  Other challenges included a rough roof top surface as this was not a new construction but a retrofit 80's remodel. Lets just say the end result was stunning and a main feature in the homes price once the two penthouse condos went up for sale.  The Oppenheimer group had a gem to market and advertise and had great content for the show.   How can a drab 1980's condominium end up with  penthouse properties with a price tag of close to 10 million.   The outdoor flooring porcelain pavers certainly helped,  with an indoor outdoor transition from porcelain inside to porcelain outside the living space had dramatically increased and the value was finally there.
